"Повернутися до життя" -  "Вернуться к жизни

„Back to life” is the theme of the fifth international art competition that the non-profit organization Art and Prison e.V. is announcing for imprisoned individuals. Artworks from women, men and adolescents in correctional institutions will be awarded prizes. A jury of art experts will decide the winners.

• Die Inhaftierten zu künstlerischer Arbeit einzuladen, sie zu ermutigen, ihr Leben und ihre Lebensumstände mit den Mitteln der Kunst zu reflektieren und die „Freiheit der Kunst“ unter den Bedingungen der Unfreiheit zu nutzen.
• Die Realität der Gefängnisinnenwelt nach außen zu bringen, die Kunst in der Öffentlichkeit zu würdigen.
• Das Ausgeschlossensein der inhaftierten Menschen über die Kreativität der Kunst zu überwinden und Menschen „drinnen“ und „draußen“ in Kontakt miteinander zu bringen – wo möglich in einem persönlichen Austausch.
• Insgesamt positive Impulse für die persönliche Entwicklung der Inhaftierten zu vermitteln und einen Beitrag zur Sicherheit, Resozialisierung und gesellschaftlichen Integration zu leisten.
